Welcome to the Chaplain Page!
So what does a chaplain do?
I found this helpful for explaining the role of a Chaplain…
A chaplain cares for the social, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing of students, families and staff. This support helps students achieve their potential, both academically and in their social and family lives.
A chaplain respects all people, no matter who they are, where they’re from, or what their personal belief system is. If asked to do so, chaplains will discuss spiritual matters with a person, in a way that best serves that person.
I look out for students who need extra support and provide pastoral care.
I provide staff additional practical support throughout the classrooms and educational program.
I am available to meet with parents and families who are concerned for their child.
How do I contact the chaplain?
At school most Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the term.
